COI Requirements

To comply with city requirements, all registered organizations must provide a copy of their COI, naming the Capital Pride Alliance, Inc. as an additional insured in the amount of $1,000,000 for the date/s of your participation (June 7, 2025 and/or June 8, 2025). The COI must be uploaded in a PDF format on the registration application. Should you not have a copy of your COI available when registering, you may submit your registration, but must provide the COI within 30 days after submission or your registration application will be cancelled. 

The information below must be in the Certificate Holder section of the COI in the bottom left corner:

Pride Parade, June 7, 2025, and/or Pride Festival, June 8, 2025

The policy expiration date MUST BE after the Parade and Festival dates in June

If your organization already has insurance, you should be able to simply ask your insurance agent to prepare the necessary documentation.

If the your Insurance Provider requires an email address for the additional insured, you can provide support@capitalpride.org.  Please note, you still must upload your COI to your registration via the Pride365 Community Parade & Festival Portal.  Emailing a COI to this email address does not trigger the updates required on your registration record.
